1 Spool of Pink Sewing Thread

Plus 1 Bobbin Full of Freshly Spun Merino/Angora Blend

Equals= 160 Yards of Sport Weight Boucle-like yarn.

I like the way it turned out, I think it's really cute. Plus, It's super soft. I don't think I'll ever use it, I'm not a pink kinda girl. If anyone out there really loves it, I'll be happy to trade for it.

That looks awesome! I didn't know that was how to make boucle. It seems sorta obvious now, though.

i have to echo wendy's comment with astonishment. i didn't know sewing thread had anything to do with boucle yarn!! it definately looks very cute and girly and pink and soft. =)

it is great! you are on my bloglines and i like your works :)i am really into spinning but never tried out yet. whel must be faster than spindle...

i have two skeins of boucle yarn that i dont know what to use it for.. have any ideas?

Plying with sewing thread is also how you get that kinked spiraled yarn - there is a tutorial on KnittySpin 2 issues back if you're interested.
Your boucle yarn looks great - even though I'm not a fan of pink. Maybe post it at Punk Rock Girls?
