Don't Say It

I had my first person ask me what I was knitting today at school.

Chick Sitting Next to Me: "What are you making?"
Me: "Socks"
Chick Sitting Next to Me: "Ah."

And that was it. And I started a sweater today. I know, I know, I have a bad history with sweaters. Don't say it, I know. But I started a Tonto Basic, but without the ugly matching scarf and not made out of that ugly yarn.

And now I have to go, it's family time.

"I'm knitting socks" and you just get an ah? At least I get "REALLy?" Good luck with the sweater ...

I was going to knit at the baseball game I went to yesterday, but I was afraid they would take my needles!

Tonto Basic is a nice sweater. I can't wait to see it finished. :-)

Go for it. It's a cute pattern.

To quote someone not-so-famous:
"Don't be encumbered by past history. Go out and do something wonderful."

(100 bonus points if you can tell me who said it, and "out" me as the nerd I really am.)
