Because I love my family.
My cousin Claire and I where surfing Craftster.org and she saw a Reconstructed t-shirt that she said she Needed. So, I told her if she brought me a shirt to reconstruct, another shirt that fit well for reference, and one more shirt I could cut up for the contrasting color, I would sew it for her. Here's the finished project:
My little sister is modeling it for me. Thanks, Amy! I think it turned out Great! I love it.
And, my mommy wanted one of my knitting totes. So she picked out the fabric and I made one for her:

Looks great! I love the print your mom picked out for her bag.
Love the top! you did a terrific job on it. You may have a little craft store to put you through college. Have you thought about making those totes to sell? I would definately buy one. You are one crafty punk (rock-girl, that is).
You're really rockin' with your sewing skills :)
Kaity have you seen that book on reconstructing T-shirts? Its awesome! Thanks for this idea Ive got a few HIM and Bauhaus shirts id love to play with!
Cheers
Cool! You're great at sewing, too! Not me. Your stuff looks great, I really love the shirt.

Very nice <3
What a great knitting bag you did. I sure wish I could sew and make the awsome things that you have made. I just love the tshirt. Found your blog hightlighted on my sister in laws web site. Susie in Michagan.
You are very talented with that sewing machine!
Wow I love that Tshirt and adore the knitting bag. You are so talented [& to think you're young enough to be one of my granddaughters] You should start your own etsy store!
BTW, I saw your comment on Knit & Tonic's and wanted to THANK YOU for the link to the Easy Sock. It's proved to me it's a MUCH EASIER way to do short row heels! I've been struggling with this technique for 5 days now & it was funny to read about K&T's "fear" of exactly what I was trying to learn & writing my frustrations about. Your's was the best recommendation. Thanks!!
(I would have written sooner but I thought yur comment belonged to someone else ... she pointed me to you. Happy knitting & sewing too!)
