Bad News and Good News
The Prom Dress:
The Bad News: I'm worried it's not fancy enough. I really love it and it took Hours to pick one out, but It's slightly casual for prom. I don't know. I think if we get some really cute shoes and a pretty hair-do, we might be Ok.
I'm still workin on the Boyfriend Socks, he saw them yesterday and said he liked them, so That's good news.

I think it's perfect! First - it's southern California, you can be as casual as you want just about anywhere. Second - it's very you and it's beautiful! I don't think it's too casual at all, jsut on the casual end of the dressy spectrum. Also, you'd be surprised what a fancy hair-do and some sparkly jewelry can do dress up a dress, if you're still worried.
In the end, the most important thing is that you like it and are comfortable in it!
It's totally gorgeous. I think it'll be perfect, especially with jewelry, shoes, and the fancy up-do.
I agree with Jillian. I think that dress is really cool- and once you do the shoes, the hair, the makeup, and the jewelry/accessories I think it will look awesome. I remember all of the girls at my prom with their fancy and uncomfortable dresses who spent the night pulling, tugging, and being miserable rather than dancing and having fun. I also opted for a shorter cocktail dress and was glad for the comfort.
Stand out in the crowd is always better. Your not the blend in the crowd type of gal anyway! I love the dress and think you will look smashing in it;)
It is fantastic and you will look gorgeous!
Such great taste you have :)
this dress rocks... definately just go in something you are comfortable in. screw what everyone else thinks.. this dress suits you and thats what matters... some girls at my school wore plaid pants cowboy boots and plastic toy guns with cowboy hats it was awesome!
how cute and fun!! yea, i agree with the others... you can totally "dress up" a dress with accessories... jewelry and hair. fun fun! =)
DARLING!!!
I think it needs a sparkly, lacy shawl to go with it!!
I think it's gorgeous and looks just like you.
It's all in the way you work it, baby! With the right shoes, etc. you will look rockin'. And red lipstick. Red lipstick is your friend. :)
very cute dress. It's kinda retro. I think it would be really nice for a prom. I think accessories would dress it up and a nice up-do with the hair.
Have a great week!
that prom dress is PERFECTION! so swank, so inspired, so feminine but not too-too girly, and it will be totally flattering for sure. how cool are you?!!!!
